The DHI method consists of the following steps:
1) Case assessment: DELTA SKY MEDICAL consultants will help you do your online assessment free of charge with an experienced and well-trained trichologist. Photographs of your head (front, both profiles, top and back of the head) will be requested to assess the extent of the area to be covered and the possibilities offered by the donor area (back of the head). 2) Haircut in the donor area: After arriving in Istanbul, you will have a physical consultation with the trichologist to clarify your doubts and confirm your condition, blood samples will be taken for necessary previous tests. After receiving the results of the tests and confirming that you are in a position to continue the operation, we continue to cut the hair in the donor area (back of the head). In order to take the follicular units with the DHI method, it is not necessary to cut the hair from the entire head, only the hair from the donor area is required.
3) Local anesthesia application and removal of the roots: After the hair is cut, anesthesia is applied to start the operation. The first step consists of taking the roots from the donor area, this is done with a cylindrical and motorized micro scalpel, where the roots are taken one by one from the donor area. These follicles are preserved in a sterile nebulized solution to keep them moist while awaiting implantation.
4) Direct Placement of Follicular Units: With the help of the CHOI pen, the follicles are placed directly into the recipient area.
